VH-TBZ HISTORY

TBZ, or Vapour Trail, is a lovingly maintained Trinidad TB20 owned by Kim Wadham and used by Kim's business KMW Corp for business trips. TBZ is based in Maroochydore, Queensland, Australia. TBZ was purchased from John and Maxine Lewis of Queensland on the 13th March 2006.

In over 25 years in the aviation industry in Australia I can't recall seeing a better maintained aircraft than TBZ. TBZ was always kept hangared by the Lewis's who spared no expense looking after her. They use to specially fly her down to Melbourne for maintenance by one of the best maintenance organisations in Australia.

TBZ would also have to be one of the best equipped general aviation aircraft in Australia with sophisticated avionics such as multiple GPS's 3 x NAV/COMs, Flight Director, lightning detection and fully coupled auto-pilot etc.

The Lewis's purchased TBZ new in 1997. TBZ provided many happy memories for them, flying over most of Australia as well as many places in the Pacific including Lord Howe Island, Norfolk Island etc.

The Lewis's sold TBZ to purchase a new Socata TB21 GT Trinidad registration VH-MLJ.

TBZ is now used by KMW Corp to service clients interstate and in country areas.
